Salary: £24,187.28 pa  

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Based: Blakehill reserve, Cricklade. Swindon

Contract: Fixed term for a maximum period of 3 years.

 

This role is to lead the Building Bridges over 50+ project for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. You will be responsible for overall project management and development to deliver the agreed outcomes.  Your role will be wide and diverse but focussed on networking with target audiences, developing project strategies, supervising participants, delivering training and practical conservation tasks, monitoring progress, ensuring reports are delivered and managing budgets.

You will become a member of the Business and Commercial service team, but work very closely with the Conservation and Land management team. You will work across our key nature reserves in North Wiltshire and Swindon to benefit those aged 50 plus who are unemployed or economically inactive to help them back into a work routine through conservation skills and work.

This is a role that requires a high level of management competence and leadership qualities. It also carries responsibility for a wide range of functions including people engagement, land management, health and safety and effective management of participants working with our partners to achieve the objectives laid down in the Building Bridges plan.

Together with a conservation worker (0.6 Full time equivalent) you will lead and champion the delivery of conservation work and resilience training to the target audiences. This post requires active engagement with volunteers, target groups, Building Bridges partners, and the local community.
