Based in Perth, ecologia conducts botanical studies throughout WA and has a significant in-house team of highly experienced professional Botanists. This vacancy represents a major opportunity to advance your career experience working within an industry-leading biological sciences team that has high credibility with both industry and regulators.

Essential to this role as a botanical taxonomist are a minimum of 5 years working experience and tertiary qualifications in Biological Science or a related field.

As the primary role focus will be plant taxonomy you will have extensive taxonomic identification skills. However experience in botanical field surveys, vegetation mapping, rare flora management, botanical data analysis, and report production also will be desirable.

Ecologia actively pursues the publishing of research results and discoveries in scientific peer reviewed journals.
