Description

Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust is seeking someone who has the knowledge, drive and passion to lead and develop its biodiversity net gain offer across the region in order to bring about nature recovery.

The Biodiversity Net Gain Development Officer will help to bring forward biodiversity units, liaising with land owners, developers and Local Planning Authorities, to develop a ‘one stop shop’ through the Trust’s in-house consultancy Wildscapes.  Supported by the Business Development Manager, the post-holder will be drawing on expertise from right across the Trust as well as commissioning expert technical advice.

The successful candidate will need to be able to build excellent relationships with clients and have experience of successful project management or business development in a similar situation. Needing to be both entrepreneurial and committed to our Wildscapes’ consultancy’s approach of profit for purpose.

Salary: £33,299 pro-rata part-time (0.8 FTE)
+ 9% employee pension contribution entitlement
