We are looking for someone to support our biodiversity campaign work by undertaking specific research and analysis of the existing academic and professional literature on the behaviour of large corporations in relation to environmental issues.
We need someone who actively enjoys research and analysis and who is looking to put their knowledge and skill in these areas to practical application. If, for example, you find Robert Falkner’s book Business Power and Conflict in International Environmental Politicsinteresting and accessible, this internship might be for you.
This role would be perfect for someone who has just completed a relevant undergraduate or masters degree, and is looking to transition to working for an NGO or for an international governance organisation.
The internship is 2-3 days per week (15-22.5 hours per week) for a minimum of 3 months (starting end of February 2012).
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their support for, and belief in, the aims of Greenpeace and be able to commit to the full period of the internship, with some slight flexibility available around the start and end dates.
