Description |
We are currently looking for a Bioacoustic Analyst to join our Ecosystems team. In this role, you will be required to process and analyse acoustic and environmental data within the Mesopelagic Southern Ocean Prey and Predators (MESOPP) project. To be successful, you must have knowledge of acoustics and/or micronekton/higher predators, experience of handling large datasets and strong computing skills using Matlab, Python, R or similar. Excellent interpersonal skills is essential as you will be working within a wider team. PurposeTo undertake research related to the BAS component of the EU Horizon 2020 project MESOPP MEsopelagic Southern Ocean Prey and Predators: QuafilicationPhD (or equivalent) in Numerate Environmental or Oceanographic science area or Fisheries Acoustics.
