is produced from renewable resources. Our business is based on producing, distributing and

trading energy and related products in Northern Europe. We are also one of the leading

developers of offshore wind projects in the UK.

 

We are recruiting for two Assistant Operations Managers, one for our Barrow Offshore Wind Farm and another for our Walney Offshore Wind Farm both located in Barrow-in-Furness.

 

 

 

Areas of responsibility

You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and people management on the wind farm site and will head and manage a team of skilled technicians.

 

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • ensure that our business operates successfully within agreed frameworks
  • take ownership for health and safety on the site
  • provide line management support to a growing and developing team.

 

Your profile

 

You will have a relevant educational background or be qualified by experience. You will be authorised to work on high voltage systems

 

It is essential that you have significant experience in operational, engineering or utilities management combines with considerable technical and people management expertise.

 

Additionally, you will have experience of working in health and safety critical environments.

 

 You will be able to handle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing perspective and have a calm approach to your work.

 

Furthermore, you will be able to create excellent results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and external business partners.
