Job Purpose Summary:

This is an exciting role for an Asbestos Surveyor to become part of a successful and expanding multi-disciplinary consultancy.  You will have the opportunity to work on an interesting portfolio of projects including those in the residential, commercial and industrial markets.

Responsibilities:

As an asbestos surveyor you will;

• Undertake Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys (as defined in HSG264)
• Record all site data and compile inspection reports
• Manage sample analysis and coordinate results /lab certificates
• Carry out re-inspections
• Update asbestos registers
• Compile asbestos management plans
• Keep up-to-date on all asbestos legislation developments eg Control of Asbestos Regulations

Qualification/Experience requirements:

The asbestos surveyor will;

• Hold Five GCSE grades A-C, including maths and English
• Be BOHS P402 qualified
• Have proven asbestos surveying experience, preferably within a consultancy environment
• Be IT literate with good report writing and communication skills
• Hold a Full UK driving licence
• Work independently or as a team

Successful candidates will be supported to gain further qualifications such as BOHS P403, P404, and S301. All applicants must have proven consultancy experience and be eligible to live and work in the UK.
