ArcGIS Team Leader

We believe that our GIS team can be the leaders in our field, and we want you to lead that team!  If you have trained as a GIS technician, have strong skills in ArcGIS and want to contribute to better management of Australia’s ecosystems, you’ll fit right in. You will participate in a wide range of projects within a supportive team environment with great opportunities for learning and development. You will have an eye for new business opportunities and be capable of managing people and projects. Based either within our head office at the Gold Coast or within our Brisbane office, you will also have the opportunity to work at various locations throughout Australia.

Selection criteria

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A willingness to have fun while contributing to the environment, the community and our business
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or ArcGIS
• Substantial previous industry experience in data capture, analysis and mapping using ArcGIS.
• Ability and confidence to drive quality assurance processes across the organisation.
• Productivity and teamwork skills including project, people and time management, responsiveness and adaptability
• A commitment to safety and safe work practices, and a willingness to promote Ecosure’s safety culture
• Manual drivers licence.

The following skills and attributes would be highly regarded:

• Client liaison skills
• Skills in Spatial Analyst and Model Builder
• Application of ArcGIS for environmental purposes
