This one day course, developed by the Bat Conservation Trust, Arboricultural Association and Lantra Awards, is aimed at arborists, and will give sufficient knowledge to allow them to carry out tree works with consideration of the potential effects on bats and their habitats. Course content includes: basic bat biology and ecology; bats and the law; potential tree roost recognition; where to go for help; emergency procedures and practical exercises.
