Job Summary:

Our multidisciplinary client has over 35 years’ experience couple with a track record of providing environmental consultancy and research expertise to a range of public and private sector clients. Due to sustained success, our client is seeking to appoint an ambitious Arboricultural Consultant who takes pride in delivering high quality surveys and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Arboricultural Consultant will:

• Undertake Arboricultural Impact Assessments
• Advise on Tree Preservation Order issues
• Carrying out tree health surveys, hazard assessment, visual tree inspection and risk assessment surveys for developers and utilities
• Manage on-site implementation of works
• Develop business with existing clients and establish relationships with new clients through business development activities

Qualifications / Experience:

• Equivalent of Level 5 arboricultural qualification (Level 6 required for upper salary range)

• Membership of a relevant professional body such as ICF, RICS, Arboricultural Association.

• Demonstrable experience of working within a Consultancy environment
• Full clean driving license

Desirable

• Lantra Professional Tree Inspection certificate
• NPTC Certificate of Competence in Utility Arboriculture; Unit 1, Unit 2.1, 5.1 and 5.2

• Licensed QTRA tree risk assessor and knowledge of THREATS tree risk assessment method.
