Job Summary:

We are working with a leader in agricultural and environmental consultancy and research to recruit a number of highly motivated recently qualified graduates into their Cambridge based team. With the opportunity to develop consultancy and research skills and be involved in exciting projects this is an excellent opportunity for highly qualified graduates.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on a range of issues from Pesticide/pharmaceutical use, new crops/species including GMOs, water and carbon/environment footprinting and impact assessment and industry intelligence reporting.
• Work will include strategic/policy consultancy and research for our clients including Defra and its agencies, Welsh Government, EC

Qualifications / Experience:

 

 Essential Skills

 

• A Scientific degree;
• Ability to interpret data and to communicate information effectively to a range of

Stakeholders;

• Knowledge of UK agriculture/horticulture or food supply chains and how these may impact on society, individuals and clients;
• An understanding of practical issues facing UK food and farming industries

Desirable Skills

• Demonstrable work experience in a relevant industry.
