Oceana is seeking an Administrative Clerk to provide support to the North America Office (NAO) in Washington, DC. His or her principal duties will include processing expense reports, assisting with forecasting department budget and monitoring expenses, arranging travel and scheduling meetings, and assisting with general office duties and related activities. Some of these duties will include reconciling credit card statements, preparing travel arrangements for staff when needed, assisting with various reports, and coordinating conference calls and meetings. This person will work with the Accounting and HR departments to ensure compliance with legal requirements, good business practices, and Oceana policies. He/she will provide other administrative support as needed. Upon mastery of the position’s principal duties, contribution to other areas such as communications and policy campaigns may be possible. |
