The 10th Nordic Environmental Social Science Conference (NESS 2011) is a collaborative effort between Stockholm University, Stockholm Resilience Centre and Stockholm Environment Institute.  The overall theme of NESS 2011 is "Power landscapes - histories and futures."

The biennial NESS Conferences build upon a tradition of intense workshops combined with common sessions. The venue of NESS Conferences circulates among the Nordic countries.
